Self-Sufficient: Security as a stand-alone solution

Ready quickly on the construction site, in a transition phase or to compensate for failure of the fixed system – EN 54-25 certified.

Fire protection when no fixed system is in place or it is missing

During shell construction, refurbishment or when building services are limited, you still need reliable fire detection. Temporary solutions with wireless and battery-powered components can be placed flexibly, extended and removed again at the end of the project.

We advise on system design, signage and the required interfaces – and connect your fire alarm to our alarm receiving centre (ARC) so that alarms are accepted, prioritised and documented as usual.

Mobile fire alarm systems in brief

A mobile fire alarm system provides early fire detection and alerting in temporary use and forms part of technical preventive fire protection. A wireless transmission path is typical so that detectors and sounders can adapt quickly to construction progress and floor plans – without automatically implying equivalence with a permanent installation to DIN 14675.

The mobile system is often used as a compensatory measure when structural or technical fire protection is out of service, defects exist or fire protection is behind schedule – for example during refurbishment in an occupied building, partial faults in a fixed fire alarm, or when the risk assessment (including occupational-safety requirements, e.g. for construction sites) requires additional early fire detection.

Include planning & system overview

We clarify design and approval sequence with the client, fire protection, insurer and occupational safety. For rapid, reliable use on site, the following features among others are relevant:

No cables

Detectors, sounders and accessories work by radio and battery – without new cable routes and without cores in existing fabric. That protects construction progress and makes temporary relocation possible: detectors can usually be moved faster when fire compartments or use areas change than with fixed cabling.

Simple installation

Many components are designed for few fixing points and can be installed and removed quickly by a specialist contractor – useful for time-limited measures and changing construction sections. Logistics stay manageable, without implying automatic equivalence with a permanent installation to DIN 14675.

Can be monitored

Where it makes sense and is technically approved, a temporary fire alarm can be linked to existing security technology or directly into the control-centre chain. Via our ARC you receive, by agreement, the same structured alarm handling as for permanently monitored sites – including prioritisation, documentation and escalation according to your instructions.

Certified & networked

We use components with the required European product standards – for example EN 54-25 for radio fire detection equipment, where covered by the manufacturer and certificate. Modern systems often use mesh or multi-path radio: radio links stay more robust when obstacles, metal or room geometry hinder transmission.

Typical use cases

  • Major construction sites & occupational safety – early fire detection where structural fire protection and noise shape the risk (cf. risk assessment, e.g. reference to ASR A2.2).
  • Refurbishment in occupied buildings – when fire-protection measures are temporarily removed or reduced.
  • Defects in the fixed fire alarm – technical equivalence until repair or commissioning (aligned with the authority and specialist planning).
  • Refurbishment, events, interim use – halls, tents, public buildings, complex special structures – only after a case-specific concept.
