A mobile fire alarm system provides early fire detection and alerting in temporary use and forms part of technical preventive fire protection. A wireless transmission path is typical so that detectors and sounders can adapt quickly to construction progress and floor plans – without automatically implying equivalence with a permanent installation to DIN 14675.
The mobile system is often used as a compensatory measure when structural or technical fire protection is out of service, defects exist or fire protection is behind schedule – for example during refurbishment in an occupied building, partial faults in a fixed fire alarm, or when the risk assessment (including occupational-safety requirements, e.g. for construction sites) requires additional early fire detection.
