Wide site coverage without a fixed installation
Camera towers combine optics and power in one: ideal when you need to protect large sites, access roads or storage areas for a limited time. We plan placement, signage and handover to the alarm receiving centre (ARC) – in line with your existing alarm and video processes.
That includes fields of view, mast guidance, power supply and weatherproof housing of the equipment – matched to dwell time and location. We align protocols, interfaces and monitoring logic as we do for your video monitoring. For small, wireless single points without a tower, self-contained video surveillance is a useful complement.

- When does a mobile camera tower make more sense than small self-contained devices?
- Towers typically provide more height and overview of large sites and access roads. Self-contained wireless solutions are often quicker to deploy on small areas without a foundation – see self-contained video surveillance. Both can be used in parallel and monitored with the same ARC logic.
- How is monitoring by the ARC set up?
- We agree interfaces, alarm texts and escalation with you; after technical approval, events are handled in our alarm receiving centre according to your instructions. Protocol details: video monitoring.
- What power and network supply is possible at the tower?
- Depending on the variant, options range from a mains connection and a generator to hybrid or solar support on the platform. The right choice depends on dwell time, location and recording load – we assess this in the project.
- What must be considered for placement, signage and data protection?
- We clarify signage, purpose limitation and, where required, a data protection impact assessment before go-live. We document public visibility and fields of view together with your integrator or data-protection officer.
- How quickly are camera towers ready for use?
- Depending on the variant (BASIC, FLEX, SOLAR, BOX) and on-site logistics, many systems are productive the same day or within a few hours – FLEX, for example, by setup on the trailer without external loading equipment. We quote specific times after type and project.
