Self-Sufficient: Security as a stand-alone solution

Alarm monitoring and control centre

Alarm monitoring Service

Building management systems (GLT)

From the BMS display to a prioritised alert in our ARC – including your intervention plan.

Building services in view, alarms with a plan

In many buildings, ventilation, heating, cooling or central energy functions run through a building management system (BMS). While everything is green, local maintenance is often enough – but as soon as a fault escalates or a threshold is breached, every minute counts.

With monitoring by our alarm receiving centre you turn technical events into traceable alarms: prioritised, logged and aligned with call trees, site management or patrols – instead of a red message blinking on a screen in the basement.

Graphic example Example BMS mimic: air-handling unit AHU 1 Two air ducts with fans and measured values; one area is highlighted as a fault. Air-handling unit AHU 1 Building management · mimic excerpt Humidifier On WRG Normal 73 % FAULT 67 % Normal · On Normal · On T 24,5 °C aq 430 ppm V 12 833 m³/h V 12 769 m³/h T 19,0 °C T 20,9 °C

Fault · AHU 1 · fan group

As soon as your system hands the alert to us (interface, protocol and connection depending on the manufacturer), it appears in the ARC with site, timestamp and priority – in parallel with the display in your BMS.

Acknowledgement & escalation

Typical BMS alerts

  • Fan / air-handling unit – Speed, overcurrent, run status, filter monitoring.
  • Thermal thresholds – Supply/room temperature, frost protection, heat recovery.
  • Bus and peripheral faults – brief outages, actuator offline, sensor plausibility.
  • Group faults – prioritised to your site focus (e.g. data centre, production).

Central classification

The ARC sees alerts in a structured way – with site reference and an escalation matrix, not a pop-up on a thousand desktops.

Fast escalation

On a defined fault: alarm chain, patrol or technical contractor – along the intervention path agreed with you.

Audit-ready records

Logging of acceptance, forwarding and feedback – traceable for site management and insurers.

How it typically works

  1. 1 Planning & implementing the connection

Together with your integrator: which systems, alarm paths and priorities – through to technical implementation, tests and acceptance.

  2. 2 Monitoring & alarms

Our ARC runs the operation: accepting alarms, checking the situation and classifying the event to your instructions.

  3. 3 Initiate the action plan

Police, intervention, patrol or site management (or similar) – we start the agreed action plan and document the steps.
