When a construction site evolves over several years—and neither mains power nor internet access is available—conventional security solutions quickly reach their limits. This was precisely the challenge facing our client in the critical infrastructure sector.
The construction site is constantly changing: new phases begin, others conclude, and the focus of operations shifts regularly. At the same time, many areas are located far from existing infrastructure, making permanently installed security solutions neither cost-effective nor practical.
Using our self-sufficient Sentinel PID units, we were able to deploy a fully operational security solution in under an hour. These systems operate independently of mains power and internet connections, linking directly to our emergency and service control center. This ensures continuous monitoring and rapid alarm response around the clock.
A key advantage lies in the solution's flexibility. Rather than remaining fixed at a single location, the Sentinel PID units move in tandem with construction progress. As work shifts to a new area, the monitoring systems are relocated accordingly. This ensures the security solution is always positioned exactly where it delivers the greatest benefit.
